Who may consider SMP?
SMP may be considered by people with visible scalp contrast, a closely shaved style, thinning hair or selected scars. Suitability depends on skin condition, expectations and the area requiring treatment.
Scalp micropigmentation (SMP) places small deposits of pigment in the scalp to imitate the appearance of closely cut follicles or reduce visible contrast in thinning areas. It changes appearance but does not grow new hair.
Request an AssessmentTreatment recommendations depend on assessment findings, medical history and realistic expectations. No result can be guaranteed.

The practitioner discusses hairline shape, density effect, pigment tone and treatment boundaries. Conservative planning is important because the result should complement the patient’s features and existing hair.
SMP commonly requires staged sessions so density and colour can be built gradually. Pigment appearance can soften over time, and maintenance may eventually be required.
